Are you interested in joining a vibrant and growing technical delivery organization? Wingbrace is looking for a client-facing, Scrum Master (SM) for its Decision Intelligence team.
The mission of the Scrum Master is to facilitate and ensure effective execution of client priorities while fostering an environment of continuous improvement, transparency, and accountability. The Scrum Master supports the Product Owner with Kanban or Sprint preparation, removes impediments, facilitates communication and collaboration, supports the team in achieving its goals, gathers metrics and provides reporting. Additionally, the SM will support the other Wingbrace Scrum Masters as well as cross-team dependency tracking.
The SM facilitates new employee onboarding, conducts daily standups, backlog grooming and client-facing reviews. The SM leads team-only retrospectives to discuss and capture what went well, what could be improved, and identify actionable improvements/experiments to run in future sprints.
Key Responsibilities and Skills:
· Facilitating Agile Practices:
Implementing and promoting Scrum practices within the team, ensuring adherence to Agile principles.
· Coaching and Mentoring:
Providing guidance and support to development teams and stakeholders to improve their Agile skills and processes.
· Removing Impediments:
Identifying and resolving obstacles that hinder the team's progress, ensuring smooth workflow.
· Collaboration and Communication:
Facilitating communication between the team, stakeholders, and other departments, fostering a collaborative environment.
· Continuous Improvement:
Identifying opportunities for improvement within the team's processes and working towards continuous development.
Must Haves:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in project management or related fields
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- 3-years’ relevant work experience or equivalent
- An ability to be onsite with the client 75-100%
- Proficient at Microsoft Office 365 tools (PPTX, DOCX, EXCLX)
Nice-to-Haves:
- Scrum plus at least one other Agile framework experience (e.g., Kanban) with a team of 3-5 team members
- Distributed team experience
- Simultaneous team experience (e.g., SM for more than one team at a time)
- AzureDevOps, Planner or Jira task management experience
- Data analyst, Software Development or Technical PM skills
- Aerospace and Defense background
- Agile Certification
- Agile scaling experience across multiple teams
- Coaching or Mentoring experience
Salary
The final job level and annual salary will be determined based on the education, qualification, knowledge, skills, ability, and experience of the final candidate(s), and calibrated against relevant market data and internal team equity.
